A\u00a0series that celebrates the strength, courage, and grace of women, weaving tales of resilience and symbiosis with nature. Each painting portrays a powerful female figure, enveloped in intricate symbolism and lush natural landscapes. These women, guardians or guarded, stand alongside animals, both as protectors and kindred spirits, highlighting the profound bond between humanity and the wild. Rendered in a style reminiscent of Gustav Klimt, the series employs a radiant 24k gold leaf and a vibrant, dynamic colour palette. The interplay of shimmering gold with bold hues infuses each piece with a sense of timeless elegance and power, inviting viewers to uncover layers of meaning and connection. With “Valiant Gals”, step into a world where strength and beauty converge, where nature\u2019s majesty meets the indomitable spirit of women.<\/p>\n

How are they created:<\/strong><\/p>\n

After many hours of deliberation in creating the composition, using a mixture of hand sketches and impressive computer skills, Anna-Marie starts with a red base layer which is the perfect colour to complement the gold leaf. She then draws up the composition and applies the 24k gold leaf to her chosen areas. Once this in place she starts painting with oils. Once dry she uses a gloss varnish to protect the final piece.<\/p>\n

      In \u201cThe Viking Warrior\u201d, we are invited into a world where power, resilience, and mystery converge.
