Ever since I was a child I have been in awe of the magnificent Whale Shark and have wondered what it would feel like to be close to one. In this fairytale composition the rider gets to catch a ride on the Whale Shark. The surreal scene combines images of an underwater landscape with a sensation of being above ground. The slight, anonymous female emerges as the dominant character, in contrast to the stronger, more powerful whale who appears submissive to her will.
